Founder & President
Patti Malott, CCA, CRM, CCBA
Patti Malott is the founder and president of Upright Ministries, a national organization whose mission is to protect ministries by safeguarding people and streamlining processes. She utilizes her knowledge and expertise in risk awareness to assess risk, train and educate others, and facilitate the process of change. She is known for her ability to restructure finance systems, resulting in clear and accurate reporting.
Patti served on church staffs as Business Administrator for more than 22 years before founding Upright Ministries in 2002. She holds certifications from:

Southern Baptist Church Business Administration (SBCBAA)
United Methodist Association of Church Business Administrators (UMACBA)
In July of 2005, Patti received the Church Management Hall of Fame Award for “outstanding contributions to church management by the National Association of Church Business Administration (known today as The Church Network).
Known for her expertise in developing, training, and facilitating methods for reducing the Risk of Child Sexual Abuse and Harassment, Patti assists churches and organizations in America and other countries. She has authored numerous articles and is frequently sought for educational seminars because of her session content and relational presentation style.
Patti has served as Director on the boards of various non-profit organizations in roles such as Chairman and Treasurer. She previously served as Chairman of the Board of Church Supplies and Services, Inc., a national Group Purchasing organization (CO+OP) headquartered in Houston, Texas. She also served as the President of the Houston Chapter of NACBA and as Regional Director of the national organization.
In addition, Patti serves as the Executive Director of the Church CO+OP and Director of the annual Texas Ministry Conference.
Patti and her husband, John, reside in Spring, Texas, where they are members of Champion Forest Baptist Church. They have two married sons and eight grandchildren. As a hobby, Patti loves bow, rifle and black powder hunting for whitetail deer.
